How to Control Cross-Event Report Access by Event Groups
By default, team members at the organisation level only see cross-event reports for the event groups they are assigned to. This ensures that users can only view analytics for events they are directly responsible for. However, admins can grant a special permission—“Show All Groups Data”—to allow certain users to view all events and analytics across groups.
Default Functionality: Group-Based Access
At the organisation level, the reporting module follows group-based access control.

Each user in the organisation may be assigned to one or more event groups
- Single Group Users:
Users assigned to one event group will see cross-event analytics for only the events in that group. - Multiple Group Users:
If a user is assigned to multiple groups, they will see combined analytics for those groups. - No Group or All Groups Assigned:
Users without any specific group assignment—or those explicitly assigned all groups—see full data across all events.
This group-based restriction ensures that cross-event analytics are consistent with what the user sees in their Event Listing at the organisation level.
Viewing All Groups Data (Admin Override)
Admins can grant users access to all event data regardless of group assignments by enabling a new RBAC permission called “Show All Groups Data.”
Location:
Organisation Settings → Teams → Roles & Permissions → Cross Event Reports → Show All Groups Data

You can add or edit an existing role.

Navigate to the Cross Event Reports Section and toggle “Show All Groups Data”.

When Enabled:
- Users with this permission will see all event data across all groups.
- The group filter logic will be bypassed for those users.
- Cross-event dashboards, exports, and analytics will reflect organisation-wide data.
