Guide to Setting Up the Brother QL820NWB Printer

Step 1: Setting up the Router
- Connect the printer with the router via ethernet (LAN) cable. Plug one end of the LAN cable into the printer, and the other end into a LAN Port in the router.
- Once connected to the power supply ensure the antennas are upright, especially if in a double flap case.
NOTE: Only use the two black ports on the router, not the white one.
Step 2: Setting up the Printer - Brother QL820NWB
- Connect the printer to a power supply using the provided power cable.
Step 3: Load the DK Roll
- Printer should be turned off while loading the rolls.
- Pull the levers on both the sides of the printer to unlock the DK Roll compartment cover.
- Make sure to remove any protective sheet from the label output slot (mouth of the printer) before using the printer.
- Place the DK Roll into the Roll Spool Guide.
- Make sure that Roll Spool arm
- Is inserted firmly in the Roll Spool Guide.
- Make sure the stabilizer slides into the notch in the printer
- Insert the DK Roll through the Printer.

Align the edge of the DK Roll with the upright edge of the Label Output Slot (Mouth of the Printer).

Check that the DK Roll is threaded straight so that the labels will not be skewed.
Push the label through the Label Output Slot until the end comes out of the Slot as shown below:
- Close the DK Roll Compartment Cover
- Press the power button to turn on the Printer
Step 4: vFairs Badge Printing Windows Application

Open the Given Link and install the app on windows system.

Once installed, log into the application and put in your credentials.
Step 5: vFairs Badge Printing App

Enter your login credentials to access the app.

Navigate to App Settings, then Printer Settings/Connection, and connect to your printer.

Return to the main screen and select 'Badge Printing Module.' You can either scan the attendee's QR code or search for their name. After selecting a user, confirm to print the badge.
