How does limits option work in the Form Builder

This step by step guide will help you in applying limits to the dropdown field in the registration form. These limits are typically used in cases where limited capacity is available for those dropdown options and they need to be capped at a certain n

 

Steps to access and apply the dropdown field in the registration form:

1. Login to the backend portal using the email address and password shared by your vFairs representative.
2. From the left menu, navigate to the Registration and then go to the Form Builder section: 

3. You will see the below screen where you can click on the settings icon for the Attendee Registration Form:




4. The form fields will open up where you can find all the fields and edit any dropdown field by clicking on the edit pen icon as shown below: 

5. Once you are on the above screen, you will see a toggle on the bottom right corner of the screen called “Apply Limit to Options” which you can enable to add limits to your dropdown options:

6. Once enabled, you will see boxes appear in front of your dropdown options to add the limits per option: 

7. The above limits will work as capacity limits for each of your dropdown options ensuring each of these options are only opted for those number of times at max.

8. Once the limit is reached for any of the options, they will disappear from the registration form.
