# How to Add Today’s Agenda to the Mobile App

## Give attendees quick access to their upcoming schedule by adding the Today’s Agenda section to the mobile app home screen.

### **What is Today’s Agenda?**

**Today’s Agenda** is a personalized home screen section that shows an attendee what they have coming up for the rest of the day.

Depending on the configuration, the section can display:

- **Sessions** the attendee is scheduled to attend
- **Meetings** the attendee has scheduled
- **Sessions and Meetings** together

The section automatically filters the attendee's schedule based on the current time, so they only see what is still upcoming.

For example, if an attendee opens the app at **3:00 PM**, Today’s Agenda will show their sessions and meetings scheduled for **3:00 PM or later**. Sessions and meetings that have already started or ended will not be displayed.

**Note:** Today’s Agenda is personalized for each attendee. The content displayed is based on their scheduled sessions (sessions added to their schedule or where they have reserved a seat) and meetings.

### **How to Add Today’s Agenda**

To add Today’s Agenda to your mobile app:

1. Go to **Backend \> Mobile App \> App Builder**.

2. Scroll to the **Home Screen Sections** section.
3. Click **Add Section**.

4. Select **Today’s Agenda**.

5. Click **Continue**.

After clicking **Continue**, you can configure what should be displayed in the section.

When configuring Today’s Agenda, you can choose whether the section should include **Sessions**, **Meetings**, or both.

You can enable both options to give attendees a single place to see everything they have scheduled for the rest of the day.

This is particularly useful for events where attendees have both a conference agenda and one-to-one networking meetings.

### **How Today’s Agenda Works for Attendees**

Today’s Agenda automatically uses the **current date and time** to determine what an attendee should see. The section displays sessions and meetings that are happening now or later in the day. This keeps the home screen focused on what the attendee can still attend rather than filling it with sessions and meetings that have already passed.

#### **The Section Updates Automatically**

As the day progresses, items that are no longer upcoming are automatically excluded from Today’s Agenda.

Attendees therefore do not need to manually remove completed sessions or meetings from the section.

#### **What if the Attendee Has Nothing Upcoming?**

If an attendee has **no sessions or meetings scheduled for the current day at the current time or later**, the Today’s Agenda section will not appear on their home screen.

This prevents an empty section from taking up space on the attendee's home screen.

### **Managing the Today’s Agenda Section**

After adding Today’s Agenda, you can manage it from the **Home Screen Sections** area in the App Builder.

### Reorder the Section

Drag and drop the Today’s Agenda section to change its position on the mobile app home screen.

### Change the Section Title

Expand the section to access its available settings and customize the title displayed to attendees.

For example, you can change **Today’s Agenda** to **My Schedule** or another title that fits your event.

### Hide or Show the Section

Use the visibility option to temporarily hide or show Today’s Agenda without deleting the section.

### Delete the Section

If you no longer want to display Today’s Agenda on the home screen, you can delete the section from the App Builder.
