How to Clone Multilingual Sessions, Tracks, and Speakers Across Events

Learn how to clone events at organization level ensuring that the multilingual variants associated with sessions, session tracks, and speakers are automatically copied during the cloning process.

Step 1: Navigate to Organization Backend
  1. Log in to the Organization Backend.
  2. Open the event management dashboard.
  3. Locate the source event you want to clone.
Step 2: Start the Event Clone Process
  1. Open the source event.
  2. Click Copy Event..
  3. Configure cloning settings as needed.
  4. Start the cloning process.

During this process, the system now automatically includes:

  • Session language variants
  • Track language variants
  • Speaker language variants

No additional multilingual configuration is required manually.


What Gets ClonedSessions

When sessions are cloned:

  • All multilingual session titles are copied
  • Localized descriptions are preserved
  • Metadata and language-specific fields are retained
  • Session relationships remain intact

Session Tracks

When tracks are cloned:

  • Multilingual track names are copied
  • Track associations with sessions remain linked correctly

Speakers

When speaker profiles are cloned:

  • Multilingual speaker names are copied
  • Bios and designations in all supported languages are retained
  • Speaker-session relationships remain intact

Step 3: Verify Cloned Multilingual Content

After cloning completes:

Verify Session Content
  1. Navigate to Session Management
  2. Open a cloned session
  3. Switch between available languages
  4. Confirm:
    • Titles are correct
    • Descriptions match source event
    • Metadata is preserved
Verify Track Content
  1. Navigate to Track Management
  2. Open cloned tracks
  3. Validate multilingual content for each supported language
Verify Speaker Profiles
  1. Navigate to Speaker Management
  2. Open speaker profiles
  3. Verify:
    • Multilingual names
    • Bios
    • Designations
    • Linked sessions
