How to Manage Date and Track Filters in the Mobile App Agenda

Control how attendees browse sessions in the mobile app by managing the Date Filters, Track Filters, and All Tracks filter for Agenda, Table Talks, and Posters menu items.

How Filters Work in the Mobile App

The mobile app can organize sessions using filters that make it easier for attendees to find relevant sessions.

The Agenda menu item can display:

  • Date Filters — Shows dates for which sessions are available.
  • Track Filters — Shows available session tracks.
  • All Tracks — Shows an option to view sessions across all tracks.

These filters can be enabled or disabled independently from the App Builder.

The Table Talks and Posters menu items use the same filtering controls, but their settings are managed separately.

Managing Agenda Filters

To manage the filters displayed in the Agenda menu item:

  1. Go to Backend > Mobile App > App Builder.

  2. Add an Agenda menu item if it has not already been added.
  3. Open the Advanced Settings for the Agenda menu item.
  4. Scroll down to the filter settings.

You will find the following options:

Date Filters

Use the Date Filters toggle to control whether the date selector appears at the top of the Agenda.

When enabled, attendees can select from the dates on which sessions are available.

When disabled, the date filter will not be displayed.

Track Filters

Use the Track Filters toggle to control whether track filters appear below the date selector.

When enabled, attendees can filter sessions by track.

When disabled, track filters will not be displayed.

All Tracks

The All Tracks toggle controls the All Tracks chip separately from the individual track filters.

Enable it to show the All Tracks option.

Disable it if you want to keep the individual track filters but remove the All Tracks chip.

Managing Table Talks and Posters Filters

The Table Talks and Posters menu items display their respective session types and have independently configurable Date Filters, Track Filters, and All Tracks settings. Changes to these filters affect only the selected menu item and do not change the settings for the main Agenda or the other session type.
