How to Configure Segment Rules to Control Which Entities Are Displayed to Each Segment
Learn how to configure segment rules to control which entities such as sessions, booths, or speakers are visible to specific audience segments. This helps deliver personalized experiences, ensuring that each segment only sees the relevant content.
-
Navigate to the Participants section in the event backend.
-
Click on the Segment Rules sub-menu.
-
Select Add New Segment Rule to create a new rule.
-
In the drawer that appears, enter a Title for the rule and choose the Segment for which it will apply.
-
Choose the Entity or Entities (e.g., sessions, booths, speakers) that the rule will govern.
-
Define the visibility behavior by selecting one of the following options from the dropdown:
-
Hide from this segment: The selected entity will not be visible to the chosen segment.
-
Show to this segment: Only the selected entity will be visible to the chosen segment, and all other entities will be hidden.
-
This setup ensures you can personalize the experience by controlling exactly what each segment can see.
