Testing email templates before sending them to your target audience is crucial for ensuring email quality and accuracy. This update makes it easier to verify email formatting, design, and content without impacting actual recipient data.
By using the test email feature, you can:
- Preview how your email will appear in different inboxes.
- Confirm that key design elements and formatting are correct.
- Avoid errors or incomplete content before a real send.
Key Features of the Test Email Update:
- No Need for Actual Recipients: You can now send a test email directly without assigning actual recipients.
- Easy Access from System Emails: All test emails can be sent from the System Emails section, located under the Marketing tab in the backend.
Steps to Send a Test Email:
- Navigate to System Emails:
- In the new backend interface, go to Marketing > System Emails.
- Locate the Email Icon:
- Under the Actions column for each email template, you will find an email icon.
- Click the Email Icon:
- A popup window will appear displaying two fields:
- Your Name (pre-filled with your account name)
- Your Email Address (pre-filled with your account email)
- You can update these fields if you'd like to send the test email under a different name or to a different email address.

- After reviewing and adjusting the name and email address, click on

- Improved Workflow: Organizers don’t have to register as attendees etc to test out system email templates, simplifying the process of testing email templates.
- Faster Template Testing: Quickly send test emails with just a few clicks to ensure that your emails look as expected before sending them to actual recipients.
Limitations:
- Tag Values Not Displayed: Since this process bypasses sending emails to actual recipients, you may not see the actual values for dynamic tags (e.g., or ) in the test email. However, these tags will render correctly when sent to real recipients.
