Configuring Invoice Templates for Allowance Negotiation

This guide will help you configure and customize your invoice template for Allowance Negotiation using the Invoice Builder available in E-commerce Settings. You can design the layout, choose which fields to include, and control how invoices are gene

Step 1: Open the Invoice Builder

  1. Go to the E-commerce section in your admin panel.

  2. Click on the Allowance Negotiation tab.

  3. In the top-right corner above the negotiation table, click the More button (three dots).

  4. Select Invoice Setup from the dropdown.

This opens the Invoice Builder, starting with the Invoice Template tab.


Step 2: Customize the Invoice Template

  1. In the Invoice Template tab, a default invoice layout will load in the visual editor.

  2. You can edit the layout by:

    • Uploading or changing the logo.

    • Adjusting fonts, spacing, colors, and layout blocks.

    • Adding or removing sections (e.g. terms, totals, contact info).

  3. Use drag-and-drop tools to reposition layout blocks.

  4. Click Save to apply changes.

This layout is used whenever an invoice is generated after Allowance Negotiation is completed.


Step 3: Configure Invoice Fields

  1. From the left-side navigation panel, go to E-commerce > Configure Fields.

  2. Click the Invoice Fields tab at the top of the page.

  3. Here you'll see a list of fields pulled from:

    • The E-commerce Item Form

    • The Sample Request Form (if applicable)

You can now:

  • Toggle fields on or off to include or exclude them from the invoice.

  • Use drag-and-drop to reorder how fields appear on the invoice.

  1. Changes are saved automatically or via a Save button (based on your UI implementation).


Step 4: Invoice Generation

When an Allowance Negotiation is finalized:

  • The invoice will be generated using your saved template and configured fields.

  • The invoice is available to download or send based on your workflow.


Notes

  • Templates and field configurations are event-specific.

  • Changes apply only to future invoices.

  • You can reset the invoice template to the system default from the Invoice Template tab if needed.
