Connecting the badge printing app with Epson C4000

Guide to Setting Up the Epson C4000 Printer

Step 1: Setting up the Router

  • Connect the printer with the router via ethernet (LAN) cable. Plug one end of the LAN cable into the printer, and the other end into a LAN Port in the router.
  • Once connected to the power supply ensure the antennas are upright, especially if in a double flap case. 

NOTE: (For Pepwave Router Only) use the two black ports on the router, not the white one.

Step 2: Setting up the Printer - Epson C4000

  1. Connect the power cable to the power supply unit. Turn the Power on from the printer.
  2. Select the Language.
  3. Select the Black Ink Type.
  4. Once done with the settings, open the ink cartridge cover
  5. Shake the ink cartridge and then open the bag and take out the new ink cartridge.
  6. Insert it into the ink cartridge compartment and push it until it clicks into the place.
  7. Close the ink cartridge cover and printer will start initialization. 
  8. Select the Black Ink Type.
  9. Printer is ready to print.

Step 3: Setting up the Printer - Epson C4000- Loading Roll Paper

  1. Open the front cover

  2. If the paper feed guide has been attached, remove it.
  3. Raise the lock lever of the roll paper guides.

  4.  Slide the roll paper guides outward as far as they go.
  5. Lower the lock lever of the roll paper guides

6. Insert paper with the printable side face up

7. Raise the lock lever of the roll paper guides

8. Slide the roll paper guides against the paper

9. Lower the lock lever of the roll paper guides

10. According to the paper width, open and/or close the platen shutters

11. Lower the lock lever of the paper ejection guides

12. Slide the paper ejection guides outward

13. Pull out the paper as shown

14. Slide the roll paper guides against the paper

15. Hold down the paper by hand, and slide the paper ejection guides against the paper

16. Raise the lock lever of the paper ejection guides until it clicks into place

17. Pull out the leading edge of the roll paper, and then close the front cover

18. Press the (Pause) button. Check that the printer is ready for printing by checking the home screen

Step 4: Setting up the Printer - Epson C4000- Loading Fanfold Paper

  1. Open the front cover

  2. Open the rear cover

3.  Attach the paper feed guide

4. According to the paper width, open and/or close the platen shutters

5. Lower the lock lever of the paper ejection guides

6. Slide the paper ejection guides outward as far as they go

7. Raise the lock lever of the paper ejection guides until it clicks into place

8. Close the front cover

9. Open the rear cover

10. Raise the lock lever of the fanfold paper guides

11. Place the fanfold paper behind the printer. Place the fanfold paper at least 40 mm away from the printer. Make sure the paper is vertical in relation to the paper feed slot

12. Slide the fanfold paper guides against the paper

13. Lower the lock lever of the fanfold paper guides

14. Insert the leading edge of the paper with the printable side face up. When you insert about 100 mm of the paper, the paper is automatically fed further into the printer

15. Close the rear cover

16. Press the (Pause) button. Check that the printer is ready for printing by checking the home screen.

Step 5: vFairs Badge Printing Windows Application

  • Open the Given Link and install the app on windows system.

  • Once installed, log into the application and put in your credentials.

Step 6: vFairs  Badge Printing App

  • Enter your login credentials to access the app.

  • Navigate to App Settings, then Printer Settings/Connection, and connect to your printer. 

  • Return to the main screen and select 'Badge Printing Module.' You can either scan the attendee's QR code or search for their name. After selecting a user, confirm to print the badge.
