Guide to Setting Up the Evolis Primacy Printer

Step 1: Setting up the Router
- Connect the printer with the router via ethernet (LAN) cable. Plug one end of the LAN cable into the printer, and the other end into a LAN Port in the router.
- Once connected to the power supply ensure the antennas are upright, especially if in a double flap case.
NOTE: Only use the two black ports on the router, not the white one.
Step 2: Setting up the Printer - Evolis Primacy

Connect the power cable to the power supply unit, then plug the power supply unit connector into the printer.

Plug the end of the power cable into an earthed power socket. The printer is powered on: the control panel lights up showing the printer is working properly. If the control panel does not light up, then either installation has not been carried out correctly or the printer is not working properly. Check the installation.
Step 3: Loading Ribbon
- Open the cover
- Insert the ribbon as shown
- Close the cover and press until a click is heard
Step 4: Loading Badges
- Open the card feeder
- Insert the cards. A maximum of 100 cards should be inserted at one point in time. Ensure the cards are positioned as illustrated in the diagram
- Close the feeder
For Printed Cards:
Once the print cycle is complete, cards are delivered into the output hopper below the card feeder. You can open the bottom compartment to see the printed badges.
Step 5: vFairs Badge Printing Windows Application

Open the Given Link and install the app on windows system.

Once installed, log into the application and put in your credentials.
Step 6: vFairs Badge Printing App

Enter your login credentials to access the app.

Navigate to App Settings, then Printer Settings/Connection, and connect to your printer.

Return to the main screen and select 'Badge Printing Module.' You can either scan the attendee's QR code or search for their name. After selecting a user, confirm to print the badge.
