Learn how event admins can check in users efficiently using the vFairs platform to manage attendee entry seamlessly
Activating the Check-In Feature for the Mobile Application
- On the left navigation of the Backend Dashboard, click on Mobile Settings:
- Click on QR Code, Check-In, and Contact Exchange
- Activate Check-In by enabling the following toggle:
- Scroll down and click Update Settings:
- The Check-In feature has been enabled. Now, admins will be able to check-in attendees to the event, as well as to specific sessions.
Checking in Attendees via the Mobile Application
- Log in to the mobile app using your admin credentials.
- On the home screen, click on the Menu button in the bottom navigation:
- Click on Admin Section:
- Click on Admin Check-In:
- You will now have two options to choose from: Event Check-In and Session Check-In.
Event Check-In:
This option allows you to check in attendees for the overall event
- Clicking Event Check-In will open a QR code scanner using which you can scan attendees' QR codes to check them into the event.
- Scanning the attendee's QR code will display their profile, where you will find a Check-In button. Click this button to successfully check the attendee into the event.

Check-Out Process
Once checked in, the attendee's profile will show a "Check-Out" button. Press this to update their attendance status and complete the check-out process.
Session Check-In:
This option allows you to check in attendees for specific sessions within the event.
- Clicking Session Check-In will open a list of sessions. Click on the one you want to check in the attendee to:
- This will open a QR code scanner using which you can scan attendees' QR codes to check them into this session.
- Scanning the attendee's QR code will display their profile, where you will find a Check-In button. Click this button to successfully check the attendee into the event.

Check-Out Process
Once checked in, the attendee's profile will show a "Check-Out" button. Press this to update their attendance status and complete the check-out process.
Checking in Attendees via the Event Backend (Event Check-In Only)
- Log in to the Event Backend Portal using your admin credentials.
- On the left navigation of the Backend Dashboard, click on Participants. Then click on Attendees & Registrants.
- Enable the check-in toggle next to the user's name to successfully check them into the event.
- To check an attendee out of the event, simply disable the check-in toggle.
