How to add and manage sponsors on the landing page builder

Learn how to showcase sponsors on your event landing page. Organizers can pull sponsor information directly from the Sponsor Hub, display sponsors by groups, and manage sponsor layouts to ensure a seamless and enriched experience for event visitors.

Steps to Add and Manage Sponsors

1. Access the Sponsors Hub

  • Go to the backend and open the Sponsors Hub from the left navigation menu.
  • This centralized hub allows you to add, edit, and manage sponsor information for your event.

2. Add or Update Sponsor Information

  • Within the Sponsors Hub, you can:
    • Add new sponsors by entering their name, description, logo, and external links (if applicable).
    • Categorize sponsors by assigning them to specific sponsor groups, enabling grouped display on the landing page.

3. Ensure Sponsors are Tagged Correctly

  • Assign sponsors to appropriate groups (e.g., Gold, Silver, Bronze) based on event requirements.
  • These groupings determine where and how sponsors appear on the landing page, maintaining a consistent structure.

4. Fetch Sponsors on the Landing Page

  • From the left navigation menu, click Event Content, then navigate to the Landing Page Builder.
  • Locate the Sponsor Template section from the page builder editor, which automatically pulls sponsor details (names, descriptions, logos) from the Sponsors Hub.
    • Note: The Landing Page Builder only determines layout and design; sponsor details are managed exclusively via the Sponsors Hub.

5. Customize the Sponsor Section Layout

  • Available layout options include sponsors grid or sponsors group, allowing you to emphasize sponsors according to their importance or tier.

6. Save Changes

  • Click Save Changes to publish updates both to the backend and the live event site.

Popup Display for Sponsors:

  1. Click on Sponsor Logos:
    • When visitors click on a sponsor’s logo on the live event site, a popup will appear displaying the sponsor’s name, description, and a link to their website.
  2. Popup Content:
    • The popup will show the sponsor’s name as the title, followed by their description and a clickable link to their website, similar to how speaker bios are displayed.

How to Manage Sponsor Groups:

  1. Add Sponsor Groups in the Backend:
    • Go to the Sponsor Hub in the backend to create and manage sponsor groups. Tag sponsors with relevant groups for better categorization.

  2. Grouped Sponsor Display:
    • When using the selected sponsor template, sponsors will be displayed according to their tagged group, ensuring that only relevant sponsors appear in the chosen sections of the landing page.
