# How to Add Conditional Logic and Multi-Select in Lead Capture Form Builder

## This article explains how organizers and exhibitors can enhance their Lead Capture Forms by adding conditional logic and multi-select options directly from the Lead Capture Form Builder.

#### Step-by-Step Guide

### **Step 1: Open the Lead Capture Form Builder**

1. Go to the **Lead Capture** section in the left navigation panel.
2. Click on **Lead Forms**.

3. Find the **Lead Capture Form** you want to edit.

   → This opens the **Form Builder Interface**, where you can manage and customize all form fields.

### **Step 2: Add Conditional Logic**

Conditional logic allows certain fields to appear, hide, or become mandatory based on a user’s previous responses.

1. In the Form Builder screen, locate the field where you want to apply logic.
2. Click on the **Add Condition** button present under that field.

4. In the new condition row that appears:
   
     - Choose a **Trigger Field** (the field that drives the logic).
     - Define the **Condition** (e.g., Equals, Not Equals, Contains).
     - Enter the **Value** that triggers the action.
     - Select what happens to this field — **Show**, **Hide**, **Make Required**, or **Make Optional**.
5. Repeat the process to add multiple conditions if needed.

**Example:**  
If the field *“Interested in Demo”* equals **Yes**, then **show** the field *“Preferred Demo Time”*.

### **Step 3: Add a Multi-Select Field**

You can allow users to select multiple options (e.g., multiple products or interests) using the **Checkbox** component.

1. From the left toolbar in the Form Builder, click **Checkbox** to add it to your form.

3. In the pop-up window:
   
     - Enter a **Field Title** (e.g., *Select Interested Products*).
     - Add all the **Options** users can choose from (e.g., *Product A, Product B, Product C*).

4. Click **Save & Close** to apply changes.

 Tip: Checkbox fields automatically support **multiple selections** — users can tick more than one option.

### **Step 4: Save and Finalize the Form**

Once both conditional logic and multi-select options are configured:

2. The form will update automatically with your new configurations.
3. Conditional logic and multi-select functionality will now be **active and functional** within your Lead Capture Form.

#### Best Practices

- Use conditional logic sparingly for smoother user flow — too many conditions can make forms confusing.
- Test your form after saving to verify logic and multi-select functionality.
- Ensure checkbox labels are clear and concise.
