How to Award Leaderboard Points for Session Check-In via QR Scan

To add leaderboard points for participants who check in to a session by scanning its QR code, follow these straightforward steps.

Step 1: Navigate to Engagement Settings

Start by logging into your event dashboard. From the left navigation menu, click on the Engagement option.

Step 2: Open Leaderboard Settings

Once you're in the Engagement area, click on Leaderboard Settings

Step 3: Click the "Add" Button

At the top-right of the Leaderboard Settings screen, you’ll see an Add New button at top right of the screen. Click this button to open a form where you can add specific points for your leaderboard.

Step 4: Enter Leaderboard Points

In the form that appears, you will fill in the below mentioned fields:

  • Score - Enter the number of points you wish to grant attendees for successfully checking into a session via QR scan
  • Mobile Title - Provide the title for this activity that will be displayed in the mobile app. e.g. Session Check-In
  • Language - Select the Language
  • Type - Select "
  • Reference Ids - If you want to award points for specific sessions only, such as giving points for checking into particular sessions, enter the system-generated IDs of those sessions in a comma-separated format.
  • NOTE: These IDs can be found under the Session Title in the Session Listing (See below image):

Step 5: Save Your Changes

Once you've entered the desired points, click the Save button to confirm the changes. The new points will be added to the leaderboard, and participants who meet the corresponding criteria will earn those points automatically.
