      How to Add Leaderboard Quiz for Mobile App and Web

      In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to create and add a Leaderboard Quiz for both the mobile app and web version of your event.

      Overview

      Leaderboards are a great way to engage your event attendees by promoting friendly competition. With vFairs, you can integrate a Leaderboard Quiz to track performance and motivate attendees. This feature allows you to create quizzes or surveys, and then display results on a public leaderboard, accessible both in the mobile app and on the web platform.

      ✅ Steps to Add Leaderboard Quiz for Mobile App and Web

      🔹 Step 1: Create a Quiz or Survey

      1. Go to the Registration Section:
        In your vFairs backend, navigate to Registration in the left menu and click Form Builder.

      2.  Click 'Add' button seen at top right of the screen.
      3. Select 'Quiz Form' in the registration type field and fill in the rest of the required fields.
      4. Click 'Save' button and your quiz form is created.

      5. Create a New Quiz/Survey:

        • Click on Edit Form Fields seen on the listing dashboard.

        • Create your quiz by filling in the necessary details, such as the quiz name, description, questions, and answer choices.

        • Save the quiz once completed.

      🔹 Step 2: Enable the Menu for the Leaderboard

      1. Add the Leaderboard Menu :

        • In the Event setup section seen on the left navigation menu, click on the “Leaderboard Quiz” button present under General Settings to make it visible to attendees. Click 'Update' button present at the end of the page to save the settings.

        • Ensure that the leaderboard menu is visible both on the web platform and the mobile app. This allows users to check their rankings in real-time.

      🔹 Step 3: Link the Quiz to the Leaderboard

      1. Go to Engagement section from the left navigation menu.

      2. Add a New Action Type:

        • In the Leaderboard section, click Add New Action Type.

        • Select “Quiz Survey” as the action type to link it to the leaderboard.

      3. Link Your Quiz:
        Choose the quiz you created in Step 1 to be included in the leaderboard rankings. You can link multiple quizzes or surveys to the leaderboard as needed.

      🔹 Step 4: Configure Leaderboard Settings

      1. Set Up Scoring and Display Options:

        • Define how scoring will be tracked (e.g., points per correct answer, time taken to complete).

        • Choose the display options for the leaderboard (e.g., display top 10 scorers, show participant names, etc.).

      2. Activate the Leaderboard:
        After configuring, click Save and activate the leaderboard.

      📈 What Happens After Enabling the Quiz Leaderboard?

      • Once the quiz is linked to the leaderboard, participants will earn points for completing the quiz correctly.

      • The leaderboard will update in real-time, showing participants their rankings based on quiz scores.

      • The leaderboard will be visible on both the web platform and in the mobile app for easy access by all attendees.

      • Promote the Quiz: Announce the leaderboard quiz via email campaigns or event announcements to increase participation.

      • Monitor Results: Use the backend to monitor who’s topping the leaderboard and review quiz performance.
