What is a Social Meta?At vFairs, "Social Meta" refers to the metadata that optimizes how your event content appears on social media platforms when shared. It includes customizing elements like titles, descriptions, and images that appear when links to your event pages are posted on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
By using these meta tags effectively, vFairs ensures that when someone shares your event page, it appears with the most relevant and engaging information, helping drive traffic and attendee interest.
How to add social meta in vFairs backend?
- Login to the backend, and navigate to the “Marketing” section in the left menu. Click on it to expand, then select “Social Meta”
- Then add the Social Share screen url in the highlighted field or upload directly.
Note: The Social Share screen allows users to easily share event content on various social media platforms. It includes pre-made posts or allows customization of messages to make sharing event details, such as highlights, key moments, and important updates, more engaging and accessible for a broader audience.
- To add Meta Description, click to the Meta Description button, and then add description in the description field.
- Click on ‘Undo’ to make any changes
- Click on ‘Update Settings’ to save the changes
Your Social Meta will be saved by following these simple steps mentioned above.
