Event tickets are used to manage entry or participation in events. They can be categorized based on different access levels, pricing, or event types, such as VIP, general, or early bird. Digital tickets are common, often tied to user QR codes.
Step-by-Step Guide: How to Add a Ticket in vFairs
1. Go to registration >> ticket(s)

- Log in to your vFairs event dashboard using your admin credentials.
- Navigate to the Registration >> Ticket(s) section:
- From the listing and click on Add.
- An options' drawer would open.
- 2. Navigate to the Ticket listing and click on "Add"
- This opens up a form to create a new ticket with various settings and configurations.
3. Set the Ticket Details
- Name: Enter the name of the ticket (e.g., Early Bird, VIP, General Admission).
- Description: Provide a brief description of what the ticket includes or its special features.
- Is tax included: a yes/no question to determine whether you want inclusive tax or exclusive of the ticket price.
- Price: Set the price for this specific ticket type.
- Quantity / Limitation: Define the number of tickets available for sale.
- Available count: System-generated field showing how many tickets are left as people register and occupy them. Leave this blank.
- Start/End Date: Set the availability period for this ticket, including when it starts and ends being available for purchase.
- Price hike / Drop date: Specify the date when the ticket price will increase or decrease.
- Price hike / Drop amount: Define the amount by which the price will increase or decrease on the specified date.
4. Configure Ticket Options
- User Type: Determine whether the ticket allows general or specific access (e.g. attendees, exhibitor etc).

Set Ticket Rules and Restrictions
- Maximum Purchase limit: Set limits on how many tickets can be bought based on the available.
- Avail count is calculated as the ticket(s) are being purchased.
Some Ticket examples:
- Early Bird Options: Set early bird discounts for tickets that expire after a certain date and time. We can manage via price hike / drop functionality.
- Group Tickets: Create group packages that allow for bulk purchases or discounted rates for multiple attendees.
- Limited Ticket: a ticket which expires after a certain limit, this creates excitement and people themselves create the word of mouth around these.
5. Save and Publish
- Once all configurations are done, click "Save" to make the ticket available for purchase. The ticket will now be live and visible to users based on the availability dates.
