Learn how to efficiently manage multiple sessions using the session import feature. This functionality allows you to bulk import or edit sessions with a CSV file, streamlining the process and saving time.
- Log in to the event backend and go to the Sessions Listing section.
2. Click the "Export" button, followed by the "Download Template" button, to download a sample CSV file for adding session details.
3. Fill up the details of sessions and associated speakers in the downloaded CSV File.
Ensure that the “Start Date/Time” for the session is adjusted as per the format stated below:
Date/Time Format: (yyyy/mm/dd h:mm)
Additionally ensure that the “Session Tracks” have been created in the event and their IDs are added in the CSV file for sessions to be associated with appropriate groups.
4. After adding session details, save the Sessions CSV file on your device.
5. Head over to the sessions listing page again and click on the "Import" button followed by clicking on the "Upload CSV" button.
6. Upload the file from your device in the file upload pop up and click on the "upload" button.
7. Click on the "Save" button upon being redirected to the CSV Mapper section.
8. This will initiate the import process and will upload sessions to the system.
9. In order to bulk edit sessions, click on the "Export" button followed by "Export all sessions" or "Export Selected Sessions" buttons to export the CSV files of added sessions.
10. Adjust the session details in the exported CSV file and re-import the file to the system as per the process mentioned above. The sessions will accordingly be updated as per the adjusted details.
