How to Configure and Resend a Registration Confirmation Email

Sometimes, a user may lose or overlook their registration confirmation email, and you may need to resend it. This article will guide you through setting up a registration confirmation email and resending it when needed.

Step 1: Configure the Registration Confirmation Email

  1. Navigate to the Registrations module in the backend.
  2. Open the Form Builder page.
  3. Locate the registration form for which you want to configure the confirmation email.
  4. Click on the pencil icon labeled Edit Form Settings.

  1. In the settings sidebar, find the field labeled User Confirmation Email.

  1. Select the desired email template you want to send upon registration confirmation.
    • This ensures that every time someone registers, they will receive the selected email template automatically.

Step 2: Resend the Confirmation Email

If you need to resend the confirmation email to a user, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Participants module.
  2. Go to the Attendees and Registrants section.
  3. Search or filter for the user to whom you want to resend the email.
  4. Click on the three dots () next to that user's name.

  1. You will see two options for resending the email:
    • Resend with Standard Template
    • Resend with Original Selected Template

Understanding the Resend Options

  1. Resend with Standard Template
    • This option sends the user a generic reminder email in case they missed the original registration confirmation.
  2. Resend with Original Selected Template
    • This option sends the user the exact email template you configured in the User Confirmation Email field of the registration form.

By following these steps, you can ensure that your users receive the necessary confirmation emails promptly and efficiently!
