Learn how to assign certificates to attendees for sessions they have watched, ensuring they receive certificates after viewing sessions as per the specified percentage.
- Access the backends' "Certificate Settings" area through engagement section.
2. Click on the "Add" button to add a new certificate and ensure that "Webinar Watch based Certificate" is selected from the type dropdown
3. Set the start and end date/time of certificate generation and select the session(s) for which the certificate needs to be awarded by selecting them from the "Reference ID" section.
4. Adjust the state of associated toggles for adjustment of following actions:
Single Certificate: Turn on the toggle if a single certificate needs to be awarded upon watching all sessions.
Must Watch All: Turn on this toggle if it needs to be ensured that the single certificate is awarded to users if they've watched all of the associated sessions.
5. Enable the "Webinar Watch %" toggle to specify the percentage of the session that attendees must watch to qualify for a certificate.
Add the percentage value in the text box that appears upon enablement of the "Webinar Watch %" toggle.
6. Save the certificate entry upon ensuring that the added certificate file has been mapped, required toggles have been enabled and the percentage has been added to the extent to which sessions have to be watched for users to earn certificates.
7. Head over to the sessions listing's settings section, and then proceed to the advanced settings. And enable the "Track Session Viewing Percentage for Attendees" toggle.
8. Ensure that sessions have their durations and tracking durations added via the sessions creation drawer.
NOTE: The tracking functionality works only for sessions embedded in the vfairs platform.
