How to Configure Save a Seat Functionality

Learn how to configure the "Save a Seat" feature for sessions, which enables attendees to reserve seats in advance for hybrid and in-person events. This functionality ensures that participants can secure their spot in sessions with limited capacity.

  1. Head over to the sessions listing area and click on the "Settings" button.

 

2. In the "Session Creation Drawer Settings" section of the Basic Settings, enable the toggle that reads "Enable Save a Seat for Sessions"

3. Head over to the sessions creation drawer and adjust the seat reservation specific settings.

Is Limited Seating: Ensures that the "Save a Seat" button appears in the frontend agenda listing area.

Waiting List for Seat Reservation Enabled: Enables the waiting list feature, allowing users to join a queue if all available seats have already been reserved.

Is Reservation Note Required: If enabled, allows attendees to add notes specifying the purpose of their reservation.

Maintain Queue: Maintains the waiting list for attendees.

 

4. After enabling the capability and turning on the required toggles, ensure that the following email templates exist in the system for users to be informed about their reservation statuses.

-Webinar Seat Reservation Successful
-Webinar Seat Reservation Cancelled
-Webinar Queue Seat Reservation Added
