How to configure speaker layout for your landing pages

Learn how to use the "Speaker Layout" builder to create your speaker listing page from scratch by selecting from a variety of layout templates featuring different arrangement patterns, color schemes, and alignment possibilities.

The creation and organization of speakers in a dedicated space is a commonly used feature in events, and our backend offers a "Speaker Layout Builder" that allows event organizers to design speaker pages in an attractive format. This tool provides various template designs, color options, and speaker card formats.

This article provides a step-by-step guide to creating a "Speakers Page" using the speaker layout section.

STEPS FOLLOWED BY A USER

  1. Upon logging in to the event’s backend, the user navigates to the “Speaker Layout” section located under the “Event Content” header.

NOTE: Prior to using the layout tool it is to be ensured that speakers have registered for the event and speaker user roles exist in the system.
  2. Clicking the "Speaker Layout" section opens the builder tool, providing options to configure the speaker layout based on the event's requirements. The first step is to either manually select the desired set of speakers or use the "Select All" checkbox to include all of the speaker users in the speaker layout from the "Speakers" selection section.

  3. Next step is to pick up the speaker design template from the “Section Design” dropdown that consists of a range of different styling templates.

  4. After adjusting all the elements, the user clicks the "Preview" button to quickly see how the speakers page section will appear on the landing page’s speaker section. This action displays the full design on the preview layout screen located on the right side of the builder section.

  5. Once all design elements are finalized, the user can click the "Save" button to ensure that the applied changes are stored and reflected on the landing page.

NOTE: For ensuring that the speakers section appears on the landing page, users have to go to the Landing Page CMS through Event Content> Event Page Manager> Home, edit the page and go to Source code. Add a short code before or after the section where they want the speakers section to show on the frontend.
