How to Create and Use Custom Attendee Registration Form Merge Tags in Email Campaigns
Learn how to create custom merge tags from attendee registration form fields and use them in email campaigns to dynamically personalize content and capture user-specific details when sending campaigns.
-
Navigate to the “Registration” section in the backend and open “Form Builder.”
-
Click the “Edit Form Fields” icon for the Attendee Registration Form.
-
When adding a new field or editing an existing one, a merge tag (slug) will be automatically generated in the Slug/Merge Tag field.
-
Save the form and go to the “Marketing” section, then open “Email Campaigns.”
-
In the campaign builder, click the “Copy Tags” button located at the top-right corner.
-
From the “Select Tag Type” dropdown, choose “Registration Form Tags.”
-
You will see tags of all fields created in the attendee registration form along with their respective merge tags.
-
Copy the required merge tag and paste it into the body of your email campaign.
-
When the email is sent, the tags will dynamically pull and display the relevant attendee data for each recipient based on the segment targeted in the campaign.
