How to Create an E-Commerce Item Form

The E-Commerce Item Form allows you to capture product details that will appear in your trade show backend. Using the Form Builder, you can configure fields, add conditions, and customize how products are displayed to buyers.

Steps to Create an E-Commerce Item Form

  1. Login to your backend portal.

  2. From the left navigation, click Registrations.

  3. Open the Form Builder.

  4. On the Form Builder screen, locate the E-Commerce Item Form and click Edit Form Fields.

  5. You will now see all available E-Commerce Item fields.

  6. Select the fields required for your form.

  7. Add conditions for fields where applicable (e.g., make Price mandatory if Category = Paid Item).

  8. Hover over fields to view additional options:

    • Drag to reorder fields

    • Clone to duplicate fields

    • Delete to remove fields

    • Setup to configure labels, placeholders, and validation rules

  9. Once you’ve arranged and customized your fields, click the Save button to finalize your e-commerce item form.

Price Enter the selling price in the appropriate currency. e.g., 12.99

Thumbnail Provide a smaller image for quick view displays. Upload thumbnail image
Booth Assign the product to a specific exhibitor booth. e.g., Booth #23 – Tea Co.
Shipment Date Define when the product will be shipped to customers. Select shipment date
Product ID A unique identifier used when updating items. Auto-generated or enter unique ID
Available Quantity Total number of items available for sale. e.g., 500 units
Allowance Maximum number of items a buyer can purchase. e.g., Limit 3 per order
Brand Enter the brand name of the product. e.g., Tea Co. Organics
Pack/Size Specify the packaging or size details. e.g., Pack of 6, 250ml each
UOM (Unit of Measure) Define how the product is measured/sold. e.g., kg, pack, box
 

Notes

  • Ensure mandatory fields like Title, Price, and Available Quantity are always included.

  • Use clear placeholders and concise helping texts to guide users in filling out the form accurately.

  • Don’t forget to click Save — your changes won’t apply unless saved.
