How to Create and Manage Composite Product Variants

This guide will walk you through how to define and manage composite product variants with multiple attributes, such as Size + Color, or Color + Fabric, and assign pricing for each combination.

4. Associating Variants with Products

Once you have created your variants, the next step is to associate them with your products.

5. Front-End Experience for Customers

Once the variants are assigned to the product, here’s how your customers will experience it:

  • On the product page, customers will see dropdown menus or selection options for each variant attribute (e.g., Size, Color).

      • Product Name

      • Variant Attributes and Values

      • Variant Combinations (e.g., SKU per combination)

      • Price for each combination

    3. Fill out the template with the relevant product and variant information.

    4. Upload the CSV or Excel file containing the product and variant data.

    5. The system will validate the data and display any errors that need to be corrected (e.g., missing fields or invalid SKUs).

  • After correcting any errors, re-upload the file. Once successful, all products, variants, and prices will be created and linked.
