How to create and manage quizzes

Learn how to create and manage quizzes to make your event more interactive and engaging for participants. This guide walks you through the steps to create and manage quizzes seamlessly.

What is a Quiz?

Quizzes allow organizers to create fun and educational experiences for participants. By adding quizzes to sessions or specific locations, organizers can gauge how attentive attendees were, assess learning outcomes, and reward participants based on their scores. Quizzes are versatile and can be used in various scenarios, including during live sessions or as standalone activities. Incentives like certificates or prizes can be provided based on quiz performance, making the event more engaging for attendees.


Steps to create a quiz

  • Login to the backend using your admin credentials.
    In the left-hand Registration menu, click on Form Builder to create Quiz.



To create a new quiz, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the "Add" button located at the top right corner of the form builder page.



  2. Fill Out the Quiz Creation Form with the following fields:


    1. Click the "Save" button once you've completed the form to create the quiz.

    Managing created quizzes

    Once you’ve created a quiz, you can manage it from the listing page.

    The available actions include:

    • Edit Quiz: Modify the quiz’s title, description, or settings.



    • Edit Quiz Questions: Add or edit questions within the quiz.



    • Delete Quiz: Remove the quiz from your event (this action cannot be undone).

    Adding questions to your quiz

    To add questions to a quiz:

    1. Click on "Edit Quiz Questions" from the actions column on the quiz listing page.
    2. Add as many questions as needed using the following formats:
      • Multiple Choice: Participants can choose one correct answer from several options.
      • Checkboxes: Allow participants to select multiple correct answers.


    3. Mark Correct Options: Mark the correct answers for each question to enable automatic scoring.
    4. Click "Save" once you’ve added and configured all questions.

    Best Practices and Tips

    • Use quizzes strategically: Attach them to relevant sessions to test attendee knowledge.
    • Set clear incentives: Motivate participants with rewards based on their quiz scores.
    • Adjust score thresholds: Tailor your feedback to encourage continued engagement with customized score messages.
