Learn how to create and schedule push notifications in the vFairs Mobile App to keep attendees informed and engaged throughout your event.
- The Mobile Notifications screen can be accessed from the left navigation menu under the Mobile App section. Click on the Mobile App section to expand and select “Notifications”.
- This will take you to the Mobile Notifications dashboard where you can see all the existing notifications (if any). You can also see their targetted audience, their click actions, and the status of the notifications.
- Click on the “Create Notification” button to start creating a new notification.
- This will open the following Notification Creation Form where you can fill in the required fields to create your notification.
- Enter the Notification details in the form.

Notification Title |
This field is where you enter the main headline or title for your notification. It should be a brief, attention-grabbing summary of the notification’s content, as this is what users will see first. Keep it concise and relevant to the message you want to convey. |
Notification Message |
This field is for the main content of your notification. Enter the detailed message you want to send to your users. It should clearly explain the purpose of the notification and provide any necessary information or instructions. Keep the message clear, concise, and actionable. |
Notification Action |
This field determines what happens when a user clicks on the notification. You can select the destination screen from the drop-down of this field. NOTE: Screen options will only appear in the drop-down menu IF those screens have been enabled during mobile app setup. |
Audience |
This field allows you to choose who will receive the notification. You can select either “All Participants” to send the notification to everyone or specify a particular segment to target a specific group |
Segment |
This field appears if you’ve chosen to send the notification to a specific segment in the Audience field. Here, you can select or define the group of users you want to target based on predefined criteria. |
Schedule Notification |
This field allows you to choose when the notification will be sent. You can either: •Send it immediately. •Schedule it for a specific date and time in the future. •Set a relative time, such as “15 minutes before the event starts.” Use this option to ensure the notification is sent at the most appropriate time for your audience. |
Status |
This toggle controls whether the notification is active or inactive. If enabled, the notification becomes active and will be sent based on the schedule you set. If disabled, the notification remains inactive and will not be sent until the toggle is switched on. |
6. Click “Save”.
7. Your notification will now be sent out at the time selected.
8. You can see your notifications in the dashboard along with the pre-existing notifications.
