How to Create Sub-Types for User Roles for Badge Printing
Learn how to create and manage sub-user types within main user roles in our badge printing app. This new feature allows you to design multiple badge layouts within a single role—so you can customize fields differently for each sub-type.
Step 1
In the event backend, find the left navigation panel and click on the "Badge Printing App" to expand the section. Then, choose "User Sub Types" from the options presented.
You will land on the list of created user subtypes (shown below) :
Step 2
Select the "Add Sub Type" button to initiate the process of creating a new user sub type.
Step 3
Fill out the form with details of the user type:
Form Fields Explanation:
User Type: Select the existing user role for which you want to create a sub type.
Name: Select the Name you want to assign to this sub type.
Description: Provide an optional description for the sub type to assist in identifying and managing it effectively.
Set As Default: Toggle this option on if you wish to designate this sub type as the default choice for badge design.
Step 4
Click Save to add this sub type.
You should now see this sub type in the list of sub types
