How to Disable Swag Bag Item Count

Here’s how to easily disable the swag bag item count.

Step 1: Go to Event Setup

Log into your event platform and navigate to the Event Setup section.

Step 2: Click on Booth Settings

In the Event Setup section, locate and click on Booth Settings. This is where you manage settings related to exhibitor booths, including the swag bag options.

Step 3: Scroll to the Bottom of the Page

Once you’re in the Booth Settings area, scroll down to the bottom of the page. There you’ll find additional customization options, including the Misc Settings section.

Step 4: Click on "Misc Settings"

At the bottom of the Booth Settings page, click on the Misc Settings option. This area allows you to adjust various miscellaneous settings for your event, including swag bag configurations and other display preferences.

Step 5: Disable "Enable Swag Bag Item Count"

In the Misc Settings section, locate the option labeled Enable Swag Bag Item Count. If this option is enabled (meaning the item count is currently displayed), simply click on the toggle to turn it off.

Disabling this feature will hide the total item count in swag bags for attendees, which can reduce clutter and improve the overall visual presentation of the swag bag section.

Step 6: Save Your Changes

After disabling the Enable Swag Bag Item Count option, make sure to click the Update button at the bottom of the page to apply your changes. The swag bag item count will no longer be visible to attendees when they access their swag bags.

Why Disable the Swag Bag Item Count?

  • Cleaner Design: Hiding the item count gives the swag bag area a cleaner, more visually appealing appearance, making it easier for attendees to focus on the items themselves rather than the quantity.
  • Focus on Quality: By removing the item count, you can encourage attendees to explore the swag bag items based on interest rather than quantity, leading to more meaningful engagement with the content.
  • Simplified Experience: For events with a large number of items or exhibitors, disabling the item count can reduce distractions and keep the swag bag interface simpler and more user-friendly.

Additional Tips:

  • Customizing Swag Bag Items: If you’ve disabled the item count but still want to track or manage swag bag items, consider using custom tags or categories for the items. This helps attendees find specific items without the need for a count.
  • Clear Communication: If attendees are used to seeing a swag bag item count, make sure to inform them via event communication channels (like email or announcements) that the count is no longer available. This will help manage expectations.

By following these steps, you can easily disable the swag bag item count and provide your event with a more refined and straightforward attendee experience. Whether you prefer to keep things simple or want to highlight the quality of swag bag items over quantity, this option can help you achieve the look and feel you desire.
