How to Manage Attendee Check-Ins and Check-Outs in the vFairs Onsite App

Selecting Check-In Mode
- Open the vFairs Onsite App.
- Tap App Settings.

- Select Check-In mode.

- Return to the Home screen.
The app is now ready to check attendees into the event.
Checking In Attendees from the Kiosk
The Kiosk provides multiple ways for attendees to check themselves in.
Available methods include:
- QR Code Scanning
- Search by Name
- Facial Recognition
The Kiosk screen and available check-in methods can be customized based on your event requirements.

Check-In and Check-Out Behavior
When an attendee successfully checks in through any Kiosk method:
- The attendee is automatically checked into the event.
- If the attendee repeats the same action again, they will automatically be checked out of the event.
This behavior applies to all Kiosk check-in methods.
Checking In Attendees from the User Listing
- From the Home screen, open User Listing.

- Search for the attendee.
- Tap the attendee card.
The app will prompt you to check in the attendee.

Alternatively:
- Tap the accordion icon or open the attendee profile.
- Tap Check In.
The attendee's status will be updated instantly.
Checking Out Attendees
Attendees can also be checked out directly from the User Listing.
Method 1: From the User Card
Tap the attendee card again to check the attendee out.
Method 2: From the Attendee Profile
- Open the attendee profile.
- Tap Check Out.

The attendee's attendance status will be updated immediately.
Printing Badges and Checking In Simultaneously
If you want attendees to be checked in automatically whenever their badge is printed, you must first enable the feature in the Event Backend.
Step 1: Enable the Backend Setting
- Go to Badge Printing App.
- Open Badge Printing Settings.
- Click the Others tab.
- Enable Enable Badge Printing and Check-In Simultaneously.

- Save your changes.
Step 2: Enable Badge Printing Mode in the App
- Open the Onsite App.
- Go to App Settings.
- Select Badge Printing mode.
Once enabled, any badge printing action performed through supported badge printing workflows will also check the attendee into the event automatically.
