How to Enable/Disable E-commerce Step in the Booth Setup Form

Enabling or disabling the e-commerce step in booth setup forms allows event organizers to customize the vendor experience to either include or exclude direct sales capabilities. This feature is particularly useful in trade shows, and expos etc.

Step 1: Access Booth Management

  • Login: Start by logging into the backend of your event management platform with your administrative credentials.
  • Navigation: Look for the "Booth Management" tab in the navigation menu on the left side of the dashboard. This section is dedicated to managing all aspects of booth configurations.

Step 2: Open Booth Settings

  • Settings Access: Once in the Booth Management section, click on the "Settings" button located at the top right of the screen. This will take you to the settings area where you can customize various booth-related features.

Step 3: Locate E-commerce Configuration

  • Scroll to Find E-commerce Option: In the settings menu, scroll through the options until you find something akin to "Hide E-commerce Step" or "Enable E-commerce Step." The terminology may vary based on the platform.

Step 4: Toggle E-commerce Feature

  • Enable/Disable E-commerce:
    • To Enable: If the e-commerce step is currently hidden and you want to enable it, set the toggle to "Disabled." This action makes the e-commerce step visible and active during the booth setup, allowing exhibitors to add their products or services.
    • To Disable: Conversely, if you want to remove the e-commerce functionality from the booth setup process, toggle it to "Enabled." This will hide the e-commerce step from the booth setup form.

Step 5: Save and Confirm Changes

  • Save Settings: Make sure to save your changes by clicking a 'Update Settings' button, found at the bottom of the settings page. Confirm any prompts to ensure the settings are updated.

Conclusion Customizing the booth setup form to include or exclude an e-commerce step allows for greater flexibility in how exhibitors interact with the event platform. By following these steps, you can tailor the setup process to better align with the event’s objectives, enhancing both the exhibitor and attendee experiences.
