How to Offer a Registration Form in Multiple Languages

This article walks you through the process of enabling and managing multilingual registration form.

Overview

To make your event more accessible and inclusive, vFairs allows you to offer the registration form in multiple languages. This ensures that attendees can complete registration in their preferred language, improving user experience and engagement.


Steps to Set Up a Multilingual Registration Form

🔹 Step 1: Enable Multi-Language Support

  1. Go to the Event Setup section in the backend.

  2. Locate the “Is Multi Language” toggle and switch it On.

  3. Below the toggle, find the “App Available Languages” field.

  4. Add the additional language you want to support (e.g., Spanish, French).


🔹 Step 2: Verify or Create Language-Specific CMS Pages

  1. Navigate to:
    Event Content > Event Page Manager

  2. Check if the CMS pages for the added languages were automatically created.

  3. If a language-specific page is missing, click “Add” and manually create a CMS page for the desired language.

    • Use the language code in the language field

    • Clone or replicate content from your default page for consistency


🔹 Step 3: Configure Multilingual Fields in Registration Form

  1. Go to:
    Registration > Form Builder

  2. Click the Edit form fields icon for your Registration Form.

  3. You will now see the registration fields available in the selected language.


🔹 Step 4: Test the Form at frontend

  1. Open your registration form from the frontend.

  2. Switch the language using the language toggle/dropdown on the page.

  3. Confirm that the form fields, labels, and instructions appear in the selected language.

  • Use accurate and culturally appropriate translations for all form fields.

  • Test the multilingual form thoroughly before launching the event.

  • For advanced translations, use translation keys under Event Content > Translations & Labels.
