How to pin a chat message

Pinning messages in chat ensures that crucial information or announcements remain visible to all participants.

Follow these steps to enable and use pinned messages effectively:

Accessing Chat Settings

1. Log in to the Backend and click on 'Networking' tab in the left sidebar.
2. Under the Networking tab, select ‘Chat Settings’ to access all chat-related configurations.
   
   

Enabling Pinned Messages

1. Enable Pinned Messages: Toggle on the ‘Enable Pinned Messages’ option to allow moderators and admins to pin messages in the chat.
   
   

Pinning a Message benefits:

Once the feature is enabled, moderators and admins can:

• Select an important message and choose the ‘Pin Message’ option to keep it at the top of the chat.
• Use pinned messages to share announcements, key updates, or important links that participants need to access throughout the event.
