How to Create Segments Based on Session Seat Reservations
Learn how to segment users based on their session seat reservations or waitlist status, and then target these segments with tailored email campaigns using the Email Campaigns module.
1. Head over to the "Participants" section in the backend and click on "Segments" sub-section.
2. Click on the "Create Segment" button to add a new segment.
3. Add the "Title" of the segment and select "Attendee" as the "Audience" type.
4. Select "User Conditions" as the selection criteria and select "Based on Session Reservations" from the "Select Engagement Criteria" dropdown.
5. Select the "Session" whose attendees are to be fetched and then the "Condition".
6. The users will be filtered against that segment and the created segment will start appearing in the "Custom Segments" section of the email campaign's audience pop up.
7. This custom segment can then be selected to create and share a targeted email campaign to the users who have either reserved seats for the sessions or have added themselves to the waitlist.
