Learn how to configure access codes to manage activities such as allowing submitters to sign up after the registration deadline, submit entries past the submission deadline, and granting restricted editing permissions.
- Head over to the "Abstract Access Codes" section within the Abstract Management section in the backend.
2. Click on the "Add Code" button at the top right hand side and the access code creation drawer will open up.
3. Fill out the details associated with code creation:
- Name: Add the name of the code.
- Type: Select the type of code to define the activity for which the code is being set up.
- Abstract Type: Select the abstract type for which the code should be applicable, i.e. all, poster, or podium.
- Code: Set the verbiage of the code
- Usage Limit: Set the limit of the code usage.
- Validity: Set the start and end dates for which the code is valid.
4. There are different instances for which the access codes can be set up and shared with the submitters to perform associated activities.
- Signup Code: If shared, lets the submitter register for the submission process post the registration deadline while the process remains closed for non code holders.
- Submission Code: Lets the submitter complete and submit a draft submission post the submission end date.
- New Submission Code: Lets the submitter start a new submission post the new submission cut off date.
- Edit Submission Code: Lets the submitters who have code edit the submissions post completion of the submission.
