The SMS Campaign feature at vFairs enables event organizers to easily create, schedule, and manage text message reminders for attendees, boosting event engagement and attendance rates.
What is an SMS Campaign?
An SMS Campaign at vFairs is a feature designed to help event organizers send reminders and notifications via text messages to attendees. This tool is used to boost attendance rates by providing timely updates about upcoming events.
Organizers can create and schedule SMS campaigns directly through the backend, either to be sent immediately or at a later time.
How to set up and schedule an SMS Campaign?
- Login to the backend, and navigate to the “Marketing” section in the left menu. Click on it to expand, then select “SMS Campaigns”
- Then click the ‘Create Campaign’ button and fill all the fields in the drawer as seen below.
- You can schedule or send the SMS according to your preference too.
Campaign Name |
Enter a unique name for your SMS campaign to identify it easily. |
SMS Text |
Write the message content that will be sent to attendees. Tip: Keep it concise and engaging. |
Audience Segment (Drop Down) |
Select the specific group of users or attendees to whom this SMS campaign will be sent |
Send Now |
Choose this option to send the SMS campaign immediately to the selected audience |
Schedule |
Set a date and time to send the SMS campaign at a later point based on your preference. |
- After filling in the details, click the ‘Save’ button. Campaign will be saved and shown in the SMS Campaign listings page.
- The campaign can be edited, deleted, and duplicated through the Actions section in the Listing.
By following the above steps, users can set up, schedule and edit the SMS campaigns easily.
