How to set up certificates

Learn how to enable and manage certificates for issuance based on attendance, points earned, and session watch percentage.

Overview

Certificates can be issued based on specific criteria, such as attendance, points earned during the event, or the percentage of sessions viewed. By configuring the certificate settings, event organizers can track attendee engagement and automate the issuance of certificates to qualified participants.

How to Enable Certificates

  1. Log in to the event backend as a super administrator.
  2. Navigate to Event Setup >> General tab >> Advanced Settings >> Certificate section.

  3. Toggle on to Enable Attendees to Generate Certificates, making the 'View Certificate' option available in the logout menu. Certificate criteria will be checked in real-time when attendees click 'View Certificate,' and if the criteria are met, the certificate will be available for review and download.

  4. Toggle on to Enable Admins to Generate Certificates, making the 'Generate Certificate' option available in the backend under Participants >> Attendees & Registrants. Certificate criteria will be checked in real-time when the admin clicks 'Generate Certificate,' and if the criteria are met, the certificate will be issued and emailed to the attendee.

  5. Once the attendee or admin clicks on the 'View' or 'Generate Certificate' option, the attendee's name will be added to the certificate. Additional profile attributes, such as CE credits, Company, and Sessions can also be included and printed on the certificate.
