# How to Set Up Your Calendar for Meeting Availability
## By configuring your calendar properly, you can streamline the meeting scheduling process and enhance event engagement. In this article, we will guide you through the steps to set up your calendar for meeting availability.

Setting up your calendar for **meeting availability** in vFairs allows attendees to book meetings with you during the specified time slots. This feature ensures that your availability is clearly defined, and attendees can easily schedule appointments during your open hours.

### **Steps to Set Up Your Calendar for Meeting Availability**
#### Step 1: Ensure Group Meeting Settings Are Enabled
1. **Log in** to your **vFairs event backend** with your organizer credentials and click Meetings tab present under Networking Module..
2. **Click General Settings and ensure that group meeting settings** are enabled in the backend. This step is necessary to allow attendees to book meetings with you.

#### Step 2: Log In to Your Event Frontend
1. After ensuring the necessary settings are configured in the backend, **log in to your event frontend** using your credentials.

#### Step 3: Open the Chat Booking Widget
1. Once logged in, look for the **Chat Booking Widget**, which is typically located on the **right side** of the event screen.
2. Click on the **Chat Booking Widget** to open the meeting booking interface.

#### Step 4: Add Your Time Slots and Dates
1. In the **Chat Booking Widget**, click on the **"+" sign** located at the **bottom right** of the widget. This will allow you to add your availability. 
2. **Add your time slots** and **dates** when you are available for meetings. You can customize these based on your preferences and the event schedule.

#### Step 5: Save Your Availability
1. Once you’ve added your desired time slots and dates, click on the **Save** button to save your meeting availability.
2. Your calendar will now be set up and visible to attendees for booking meetings.

### **What Happens After Setting Up Your Calendar?**
- **Attendees Can Book Meetings:** Once your calendar is set up, attendees can view your availability and book meetings during the times you’ve specified.
- **Real-Time Updates:** Any changes you make to your time slots and dates will automatically be reflected, ensuring that attendees see your most up-to-date availability.
- **Streamlined Meeting Scheduling:** This feature helps ensure efficient meeting scheduling, preventing overlap and helping you manage your time more effectively during the event.

- **Block Off Unavailable Times:** If there are specific times when you’re unavailable, make sure to mark them as unavailable in your calendar to prevent any accidental bookings.
- **Adjust for Different Time Zones:** Ensure that your time slots are set according to the event's time zone, especially if you have attendees from multiple regions.
- **Set a Buffer:** Consider setting a small buffer between meeting slots to avoid back-to-back meetings.
