Learn how to integrate ZOHO CRM Lead with vFairs for seamless synchronization of attendee data. This guide covers the entire setup process, from field mapping to integration testing.
Overview of the Integration Process
- Field Selection: Identify the key user profile attributes to collect during registration (e.g., name, email, phone number).
- Create Fields in vFairs: Utilize the vFairs Form Builder to create the necessary registration fields.
- Create Fields in ZOHO: Establish corresponding fields in ZOHO to facilitate data synchronization.
- Field Mapping: Map the registration fields between vFairs and ZOHO to ensure data consistency across both platforms.
- Integration Testing: Test the integration by registering a user and verifying that the data appears in the user listing sections of both systems.
Access the Integrations Dashboard
- Log In to the Backend: Start by logging into your backend dashboard to access the integration features.
- Navigate to Integrations: On the left menu bar, scroll down to the very bottom and locate the Integrations button.
- Enter the Dashboard: Click the Integrations button to enter the integration hub.
- Explore Available Apps: Once inside, browse through the list of all available apps displayed on the dashboard.
- Select Your App: Choose the app you wish to integrate with and click the Configure button to begin setting up your integration.
Clicking "Launch Setup" will initiate the process.
Follow the instructions.
1. Add Account
Select your respective domain i.e. how does your domain end? Is it .Com .EU . JP or any other.
Select if you want to connect it with your production or sandbox environment.
Provide your credentials, ZOHO will confirm with Two factor authentication with your account for verification..
The integration list displays various integrations. You can enable any integration that suits your needs.
Configure Create Contact/Lead Integration:
- Click the "Setup and Enable" button for the desired integration.
- A new screen appears with a Yes/No dropdown.
- Important: Always select "Yes" during initial configuration to allow Contact update.
- Click the "Next" button in the bottom right corner.
Matching Fields:
- These fields correspond to the data received from your vFairs registration form. See image below.
- Clicking on a ZOHO field will display all available fields from the vFairs data to map.
- By clicking the search field (see image below) within a field, you can search through these vFairs data fields.
- For example, searching for a field like “First Name” will show the corresponding vFairs data field.
- The most recently registered users will be automatically identified during matching, indicating a successful field selection.
After Field Matching is completed, click Next at the bottom of the page.
On the next screen click on the save button and the integration will be completed
