How to integrate Eventbrite integration with vFairs

Learn how to integrate Eventbrite with vFairs for seamless synchronization of attendee data. This guide covers the entire setup process.

With the Eventbrite-vFairs integration, every attendee who registers for an event on Eventbrite is automatically added to vFairs as an attendee, ensuring smoother communication, personalized follow-ups, and more effective marketing. 

Overview of the Integration Process

  1. Field Selection: Identify the key user profile attributes to collect during registration (e.g., name, email, phone number).
  2. Create Fields in vFairs: Utilize the vFairs Form Builder to create the necessary registration fields.
  3. Create Fields in Eventbrite: Establish corresponding fields in Eventbrite to facilitate data synchronization.
  4. Field Mapping: Map the registration fields between vFairs and Eventbrite to ensure data consistency across both platforms.
  5. Integration Testing: Test the integration by registering a user and verifying that the data appears in the user listing sections of both systems.


Access the Integrations Dashboard

  1. Log In to the Backend: Start by logging into your backend dashboard to access the integration features.
  2. Navigate to Integrations: On the left menu bar, scroll down to the very bottom and locate the Integrations button.
  3. Enter the Dashboard: Click the Integrations button to enter the integration hub.
  4. Explore Available Apps: Once inside, browse through the list of all available apps displayed on the dashboard.
  5. Select Your App: Choose the app you wish to integrate with and give it a click! hit the Configure button to begin setting up your integration.

Follow the instructions.
1. Add Account



Provide your credentials, Eventbrite will confirm with Two factor authentication if on your account and select the account if you have more than one.

The integration list displays various integrations. You can enable any integration that suits your needs.

 

Configure Create attendee Integration:

  1. Click the "Setup and Enable" button for the desired integration.
  2. A new screen appears with a Yes/No dropdown.
    1. Important: Always select "Yes" during initial configuration to allow attendee update.
  3. Click the "Next" button in the bottom right corner.

 


  Matching Fields:

  1. These fields correspond to the data received from your vFairs registration form, such as the registration form itself. See image.
  2. You select the organization and event from the dropdown and click next.

  1. Clicking on an Eventbrite field will display all available fields from the vFairs data.
  2. By clicking the search field (see image) within a field, you can search through these vFairs data fields.
  3. For example, searching for a field like “First Name” will show the corresponding vFairs data field.
  4. The most recently registered users will be automatically identified during matching, indicating a successful field selection.


On next screen Click save button and we will have our integration ready
