Learn how to upload a SCORM course to vFairs sessions. Follow these detailed instructions to successfully upload a SCORM course to your vFairs event. These steps ensure a smooth upload and integration of your SCORM course within the vFairs platform.
- Log in to the vFairs Event Backend
- Begin by logging into the backend of your vFairs event with your admin credentials.
2. Navigate to Session Listings
- Once logged in, locate the main menu on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
- In the menu, find and click on Sessions. A dropdown will appear—select Session Listings.
View Available Sessions
- On the Session Listing page, you'll see a grid displaying all the sessions that have already been created for your event.
- If you need to upload a new session for a SCORM course, proceed to the next step.
4. Add a New Session
- In the top right corner of the Session Listing page, click the Add Session button. This will open a popup window to create a new session.
5. Select SCORM as the Session Type
- In the popup window, you'll find a dropdown menu labeled Session Type.
- From this dropdown, select SCORM Session (Webinar) to designate this as a SCORM-based session.
6. Fill in the Required Fields
- Enter the necessary details for the session, including:
- Session Title: A clear and concise name for your session.
- Session Description: A detailed description of the SCORM content, including what participants can expect to learn.
- Start Time and End Time: The scheduled time for the session to go live.
- Any other required fields specific to your event setup.
7. Upload the SCORM File
- Locate the File Upload field within the session creation form.
- Click the upload button, which will allow you to browse your computer.
- Select the SCORM package you want to upload. Ensure that the SCORM course is in .zip format, as this is the standard format for SCORM courses.
- Once selected, the file will begin uploading to the SCORM cloud.
8. Save the Session
- After filling in all the required information and successfully uploading the SCORM file, click the Save Session button.
- This will:
- Upload the SCORM course to the SCORM cloud for further processing and hosting.
- Automatically create a session for your event with the SCORM content linked to it.
9. Verify the Session
- After saving, navigate back to the Session Listing page.
- Your newly created SCORM webinar session will now be visible in the session grid, along with other sessions.
- Double-check that all the details, including the SCORM course, have been properly uploaded and that the session is ready for participants.
