Fixed discount codes are a powerful tool for ensuring consistent pricing for your event tickets. This type of discount is unique as it allows you to set a fixed price for your tickets, regardless of any changes in the original price of the package.
What Does a Fixed Discount Do?
A Fixed Discount reduces the price of a ticket to a specific, pre-defined amount. Unlike percentage-based or amount-based discounts, a fixed discount overrides the current ticket price and sets it to the value specified in the discount code.
For example:
- Original Ticket Price: $100
- Fixed Discount Code Amount: $59
- Final Price After Applying the Fixed Discount Code: $41
Even if the ticket price fluctuates due to external factors, the fixed discount ensures attendees pay the exact price defined by the code.
When Should You Use Fixed Discount Codes?
Fixed discount codes are especially helpful in scenarios where ticket prices are subject to frequent changes. For example:
- Early Bird Sales: If you want to guarantee a specific price for early buyers, regardless of future price increases.
- Special Promotions: When offering a promotional price for a select audience, such as VIPs or sponsors.
- Price Adjustments: If your ticket prices are dynamic, fluctuating based on demand, using fixed discounts ensures attendees pay the promotional price you want.
