# How to utilize AI Tool to Generate Notifications
## The "Notifications" screen allows users to create smart, personalized notifications tailored to the different stages of their event.
### **Step-by-Step Guide**:
#### Step 1: Access the AI Tool
Login to the backend and navigate to the ‘Marketing’ section. Click on it to expand and then click ‘AI Assistant’ to access the AI Tools vFairs offer.
Navigate to the **Notifications** card and click it to open a new screen.
#### Step 2: Select Notification **Type**:
Note: Selecting the correct notification type ensures the message reaches your audience in the format they prefer.
#### Step 3: Select the **event stage**—e.g., Pre-Event, Live Event, Post-Event.
| **Stage** | **Types** |
| --- | --- |
| Pre-Event | OutReach: Promote the event and encourage registrations. Confirmation: Confirm the registration of attendees. Reminder: Remind potential or registered attendees about the event. Other: (custom purpose). |
| Live Event | Notification: Inform attendees that the event is currently live. You can schedule announcements about the event agenda at specific times. Reminder: Remind attendees to participate while the event is ongoing. Other: (custom purpose). |
| Post-Event | Thank You: Thank attendees for joining the event. Re-Engagement: Reconnect with non-attendees or keep the registered attendees updated with any upcoming agenda. Other: (custom purpose). |
#### Step 4: Add Relevant Information
Customize the message in the ‘**Add Relevant Information**’ field by specifying the desired outcome, such as offering discounts, and highlighting benefits.
#### Step 5: Select the **number of variants** between 1-3.
#### Step 6: Generate
Click **Generate** and AI generated content will be displayed in the text box shown below.
The generated content will appear below in the "Generated Text" section. **Review** the content to ensure it meets your expectations. You can make any **edits** you like.
To help manage your workflow, the "**History**" section keeps a record of previously generated notifications. This feature allows you to reference past versions, compare changes, and maintain a consistent communication strategy.
Users can copy this text by clicking the ‘**copy**’ icon shown right under the ‘Generate’ button.
### **Tips for Effective Notifications**
- **Be Specific**: Provide detailed and clear instructions to generate content that closely matches your needs.
- **Use Relevant Tone**: Adjust the tone of communication according to the nature of your event and audience. You can choose between professional, friendly, witty, etc.
- **Review Thoroughly**: Although the AI provides great assistance, always review the generated content to ensure it meets your requirements.
