Configuring Automatic User Deletion
To manage user deletions, follow these steps:

- Log in to your account and navigate to the Event Setup Module.
Access the Backend
- Locate Cancellation Settings
- Within the Event Setup Module, find these toggle options:

- "Allow attendees to cancel registrations"
- When turned ON, users can cancel their registration.
- Upon cancellation, their status changes to Deactivated in the Participants Module under Attendees and Registrants.
- Deactivated users cannot access the event but remain in the system for tracking or reporting purposes.
- "Allow attendees to cancel registrations and then delete account"
- When turned ON, users who cancel are automatically deleted from the Participants Module.
- Deleted users can re-register using the same email address if needed.

Manually Deleting Users
If you prefer manual control, you can delete users who cancel their registration:
- Navigate to the Participants Module
- Access the Participants Module and select Attendees and Registrants.
- Find the User
- Use the search bar to locate the user you want to delete.
- Delete the User
- Click the Trash Icon next to their name and confirm the deletion in the prompt that appears.
Scenarios and System Behavior
Scenario 1: Users Cancel and Remain Deactivated
- Setting: "Allow attendees to cancel registrations" (Toggle ON).
- Behavior: Users can cancel, and their status changes to Deactivated.
- Impact: Users remain in the system but cannot access the event.
Scenario 2: Users Cancel and Are Automatically Deleted
- Setting: "Allow attendees to cancel registrations and then delete account" and "Allow attendees to cancel registrations" (Toggle ON).
- Behavior: Users cancel and are automatically deleted.
- Impact: Users are removed from the system and can re-register with the same email.
Scenario 3: Cancellations Disabled
- Setting: Both toggles OFF.
- Behavior: Users cannot cancel their registration.
- Impact: Accounts remain active until manually deleted.
Scenario 4: Manual Deletion
- Setting: Both toggles OFF, or user deletion needed after deactivation.
- Behavior: Organizers manually delete users from the Participants Module.
- Impact: Users are permanently removed and can re-register if needed.
Best Practices for Event Organizers
- Use Scenario 2 if you expect users to re-register after canceling.
- Opt for Scenario 1 to retain canceled users for reporting or auditing.
- Regularly review the Participants Module to manage attendees effectively.
