My Account Module for Attendees

The My Account module provides attendees with a centralized location to manage their event-related details. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to access and use the features available in this module.

Accessing the My Account Module 

  1. Log In to Your Event:
    Navigate to your event using the event URL provided by the organizer. Enter your login credentials to access the event.

  1. Access My Account:
    • Once logged in, locate your name in the top-right corner of the screen.
    • Click on your name to open a dropdown menu.
    • Select My Account from the dropdown to access the module.

Alternatively, you can also access the my account module by clicking on the Manage My Account Button on the Main Registration Page.

Features of the My Account Module

The My Account module is divided into three sections:

1. My Profile

In this section, you can update your personal details:

  • Editable Fields:
    Update your name, email address, phone number, and any additional information requested during registration.
  • How to Edit:
    • Make changes directly in the fields provided.
    • Click Save Changes to confirm your updates.

2. Upgrade/Downgrade Tickets

This section allows you to manage your ticket purchases:

  • Upgrade Your Ticket:
    Select a higher-tier ticket to access additional event benefits. Any price difference will be calculated, and you will be guided through the payment process.
  • Downgrade Your Ticket:
    Choose a lower-tier ticket if your preferences have changed. Any applicable refunds will be processed as per the event organizer's policy.
  • Steps to Upgrade/Downgrade:
    • Select the Upgrade/Downgrade Tickets tab.
    • View your current ticket and available options.
    • Choose the desired ticket option and follow the prompts.

3. Account Settings

This section provides options to manage your account status:

  • Cancel Your Account:
    Cancel your registration if you can no longer attend the event. This action may trigger refunds or other actions based on the event’s policy.
  • Delete Your Account:
    Permanently delete your account and associated data. Use this option only if you no longer want any record of your participation.
  • How to Cancel/Delete:
    • Navigate to the Account Settings tab.
    • Select either Cancel Account or Delete Account and follow the confirmation prompts.

Additional Notes:

  • Ensure that any changes made to your profile or ticketing are completed before key event deadlines.
  • Refunds or adjustments during ticket upgrades/downgrades are subject to the event organizer’s policies.
  • Deleting your account is irreversible
