The Allowance Negotiation feature allows Admins and Exhibitors to negotiate product allowances directly within the e-commerce dashboard. By following the simple steps outlined below, you can streamline allowance adjustments and finalize them in an organized workflow.
Prerequisites:
- Access to the E-commerce Module in the Admin Panel.
- Necessary permissions to enable and manage allowance negotiations.
- Items/products added to the e-commerce dashboard.
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Enabling the Allowance Negotiation Feature:
- Navigate to the Event Setup tab in the Side Panel.
- Go to the E-commerce Module settings.
- Toggle on the "Enable Allowance Negotiation" option to activate the feature in your e-commerce dashboard.
- Navigate to the Event Setup tab in the Side Panel.
- Setting Up Your E-commerce Item Form:
- Head to the Form-Builder in the Registrations Tab.
- Create your E-commerce Item Form and add all necessary fields (e.g., product name, allowance, price, etc.).
- These fields will automatically appear in the e-commerce dashboard as columns.

- Adding Items to the E-commerce Dashboard:
- Go to the E-commerce Dashboard to start adding items.
- Option 1: Add Individual Items

- Once items are added, their status will depend on who added them:
- Pending Supplier Review – Items added by the Admin, awaiting supplier action.
- Pending Admin Review – Items added by the exhibitor/supplier, awaiting Admin review.
- Understanding Allowance Negotiation Statuses:
Pending Admin Review
The item is under Admin review, requiring them to negotiate, accept, or reject.
Pending Supplier Review
The item is under supplier review, requiring their action to negotiate or accept.
Accepted
The item has been accepted and will appear on the e-commerce front-end.
Rejected
The item has been rejected, but the supplier/exhibitor can resubmit the allowance for negotiation.
- Negotiating Allowances:
There are two ways to negotiate allowances:
- At the Item Level:
- Click on the three-dot icon next to the item and select Negotiate.
- A side panel will open, displaying the current allowance. You can enter the new allowance and add any comments if needed.
- Click on Negotiate to send an email notification to the other party, providing details of the updated allowance.

- At the Worksheet Level:
- Click the Edit Worksheet button (top-right) to edit multiple items at once.
- Update the allowance values for several items in the worksheet.
- Once all changes are made, click Save Changes (top-right). A single email notification will be sent containing details of all updated allowances.

- To accept an allowance, click the three-dot icon and select Accept.
- For Admins, the item status must be Pending Admin Review to finalize the acceptance.
- Similarly, for exhibitors/suppliers, the status must be Pending Supplier Review before the allowance can be updated or accepted.
